Orders

An order is what a client asked for. The line-item editor totals as you type: quantity, unit price, discount and tax per line, and the document total underneath.

Statuses

• Draft — still being built. Nothing has moved.
• Confirmed — stock has been committed against the order.
• Fulfilled — it has gone out the door.
• Cancelled — the stock movements are written back.

Turning an order into an invoice

A confirmed order can raise an invoice in one click. The lines, the client and the totals come across; the invoice then has its own life, with its own number and its own payments.
